    Some parents and counsellors have urged the medical selection committee to follow the IIT admission process where students are not allowed to exit counselling. “The option to exit during the first round must be removed. Students must take the seat they are given and apply for an upgrade in further rounds, either in state or AIQ round. Otherwise after allotment in round 1, seats still remain vacant,” says Satish K, a tutor for NEET and JEE.
